Chuckie Egg 32K v1.1
Fixes:
- In some instances, Hen-House Harry got stuck on an elevator platform. This has been fixed.
- NTSC fixed. The game runs faster and there is some flicker on the top left of the screen. However, the game should be playable. NTSC compatibility has not been tested on real hardware. Please report any bugs here.

A wonderful, amazing porting of a classic on the Vic20.
I had the Vic20 in the beginning of 80s, and then my parents bought me a ZX Spectrum.
I was used to play Chuckie Egg on the Spectrum and I am so happy to have the opportuninty to play it on my beloved Vic, my first computer.
I've noticed that if you play a 2 player game, when player 2 complete the first level the game crashes.
Bonus score continues to grow up, with no ending. I've tried the game in both the .prg and .d64 files, on a PAL Vic20 and I used the Mega Cart as RAM Expansion. Just to let you know. Playing in one player mode there are no problems, great work, really. I love it.
Very nice game. Our German-language review can be found in our recorded livestream starting at 00:17:11. Subscription to our YouTube or Twitch channel is welcome. 🙂
Just came across your port. Fantastic work, a brilliant port. Love it!
Congrats Derek ! Awesome port.
Fantastic. Great gameplay. Thank you for creating this and on the mighty Vic-20 too. Brilliant.
@Palexis
Without colour clash you get half the resolution. You want colour clash!
Wow, Wow, Wow. What a fine job! Joystick support is amazing. I'm just missing the zxmkl controls I use on the Beeb! Many thanks!
Thank-you! I'll pass your comment on to Derek. Perhaps keyboard controls could be implemented in a future version :-)
An impressive conversion of the original game, congratulations ^^ !
